# Ariadni

> Ariadni is counsel-oversight software from Ariadni LLC: it helps a legal-services buyer see what its outside counsel is worth, drawn from the buyer's own inbox and documents. Ariadni is a technology company, not a law firm; her output is information, not legal advice, and using her creates no attorney-client relationship. Currently in private pilot with a waitlist. Tagline: Know what your lawyer is worth.

With the user's permission, Ariadni looks for emails from their outside lawyer or law firm. She assesses each document and any advice in the message, then emails the user a plain-English read scored across four signals, and stages suggested questions as a draft in the user's own drafts folder; she prepares but never sends. Monitoring is continuous from the moment an account is connected.

The four signals: responsiveness (reply speed on a business-hours clock, from headers and timestamps); who did the work (whether the named lawyer authored the documents, read from document metadata); work-product quality (a structural and substantive read of the documents); and fee versus expectation (what work of that type should reasonably cost, as a yardstick).

A best-effort de-identification pass runs before any document or message is sent to the AI platform for analysis. It is best-effort, not a guarantee. A public demo of that step runs entirely in the browser on the Try page, where nothing is uploaded.

The name: Ariadni gave Theseus a thread to find his way out of the labyrinth. Her thread had a name, a clew, which is where the word "clue" comes from.
